Magenta

Enter the strange and seductive world of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with my painting of Magenta, the mysterious maid from the legendary 1975 cult classic.

Played by Patricia Quinn, Magenta is one of the film’s most recognisable characters, with her striking red hair, dramatic make-up and gothic-inspired appearance. As a member of Frank-N-Furter’s eccentric household, she brings an air of mystery, mischief and theatrical flair to this unforgettable celebration of science fiction, horror, music and alternative culture.

My painting pays tribute to Magenta’s distinctive look and the film’s wonderfully outrageous visual style, celebrating a cult phenomenon that continues to captivate audiences around the world.

Created by Scottish artist Neil G Smith, aka Arttoon, this piece is part of my Film-Inspired Art collection, celebrating iconic characters and memorable moments from the world of cinema.

Perfect for fans of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, cult films, gothic style and alternative art.

It's just a jump to the left… and a step into cult cinema history!
