Arttoons – Where Imagination Meets Illustration
 
This collection celebrates storytelling through character, colour, and humour. Each piece captures a fleeting thought, a mischievous moment, or an emotional nuance, transforming everyday ideas into engaging visual stories. Originally hand-drawn, these works blend comic and illustrative styles, inspired by my lifelong love of cartoons and classic animation.
 
While many Arttoons are playful and whimsical, others are profound and thought-provoking, encouraging the viewer to look beyond the humour and reflect on deeper themes. Whether light-hearted or contemplative, each image is crafted to evoke emotion and spark curiosity—telling its story without words.
In my second book, I have expanded this exploration with a fresh series of poems that accompany my illustrations, capturing the mood, humour, and narratives of my newest works. These poems include: AI1 on the Strange Planet, Nicky and the Robot Rope, Scrub’n’Dub, Surf the Pink Robot, Wicked Mum, The Poastie Monster, Robot Red Eye, The Tiny Robot Circus, The Robot Rats’ Ball, The Spring Olympics, The Police Robot, and Clive’s Sky Chase. Each poem complements the visual story, adding rhythm, character, and playful detail that deepen the connection between viewer and artwork.
 
Together, the images and poems create a layered experience, showing how art and words can combine to entertain, provoke thought, and ignite imagination—inviting readers and viewers alike to see the world through a lens of colour, humour, and wonder.
