In this sequence, Jack—once a struggling writer and family man—has fully descended into madness while isolated at the Overlook Hotel. Driven by isolation, supernatural influence, and his own inner demons, he violently breaks through a bathroom door with an axe, grinning as he repeats the chilling phrase.
 
The moment captures the complete collapse of sanity into something chaotic and uncontrollable. What makes it so disturbing is the contrast between Jack’s familiar human face and the unpredictable violence erupting from him, turning a domestic space into a site of pure horror.
 
Painted in my bold, expressive style, this piece would emphasise energy, tension, and fractured emotion—splintered wood, sharp contrast, and a distorted sense of reality.
