East Kilbride: 30 Years Through the Lens

This collection of 22 specially selected photographs was created for The Osprey restaurant and is a personal celebration of East Kilbride over the last 30 years. As someone who has lived, worked, and created here, these images reflect my own connection to the town and the changes I’ve witnessed along the way.

The photographs capture familiar landmarks, everyday moments, and quieter scenes that often go unnoticed, telling the story of East Kilbride as it has grown and evolved. Some images may spark nostalgia, others recognition — all are rooted in a strong sense of place and community.

Displayed together, the collection acts as a visual timeline, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the town’s past while enjoying the present. These works were created not just to decorate the space, but to celebrate East Kilbride’s identity, history, and spirit.

Commissions & Project Work

I welcome photography commissions and project-based work of all sizes, from individual pieces to full collections created for businesses, organisations, and public spaces. Whether the brief is commercial, documentary, or creatively led, I approach every project with a strong focus on storytelling, atmosphere, and a genuine connection to place.

My commissioned work often centres around people, environments, and communities, capturing moments that feel authentic rather than staged. I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their vision while bringing my own artistic eye and experience to each project.

If you’re looking for photography that reflects character, heritage, or identity — whether for a restaurant, workplace, exhibition, or private space — I’m always open to new ideas and collaborations. Every commission is tailored to the project, ensuring the final work feels considered, meaningful, and unique.
